Tell me, Who should win the election?

Okay, I know I'm not from the states, but I'm still kind of interested in how the 2008 election will play out. I am not exactly up to date on everything going on with the 2008 presidential election, but I am under the impression that the three leading candidates are:

      George Bush
      Hillary Clinton
      Barack Obama

Am I correct, or totally misinformed? (I know absolutely NOTHING about the other candidates.)
I am just wondering who you think should win the election, out of those three?

I personally am in favor Barack Obama, but I would like to know what you say.

P.S. I'm not sure if this post really goes here but I thought it was the best choice. Please move it if necessary.

I'd have to say you were pretty misinformed. George Bush has had his maximum two terms, and cannot run again.

Okay thanks for letting me know. Just goes to show how much I (or my informants) know about American politics.

How about nobody wins? Then America can have a healthy dose of anarchy.

If it's Obama or Clinton I'll be a happy camper. Though obviously I have no say as I'm not American, I can see the public going for a radical departure from what they have right now.

Yes. You should change this for it is NOT possible.
You could however submit Jed Bush, or Lora Bush.

I'd prefer Clinton but i wouldn't mind Obama, the only problem i have with Obama is that i fear that some of his christian morals may bleed over into the politics side, he mentioned that he valued his christian morals alot in one of the conferences i saw in America, but either Hilary or Obama will do, anythings better than Bush!

So Why is the best option for the representative of the American people in the 2008 election not one of the choices in this poll? Is this some sort of glimpse of things to come or has RON PAUL not been advertised and covered enough on mainstream television and media to be noticed, let alone understood as a TRUE American?

      VOTE RON PAUL!!!!!!!

To be more precise we the people should decide who wins.
F**CK the electoral votes. In some respect i understand the premises and it has it's good sides.
The primary candidates will spend millions on the states, Ohio, Florida, California, etc. that get them the most electoral votes.
      Who is campaigning in Wyoming?

Ron Paul definately has my vote.

I'm pretty much hoping for anyone other than Obama or Clinton. I don't like any of the democrats and alot of the Republicans could be better than they are. Guiliani doesn't have a shot IMHO. Romney would be my second choice probably. Ron Paul would be the best thing for America since sliced bread. I usually am not a fan of Libertarians but he knows what he believes, puts it on the table and defends it. He doesn't try to sway voters towards him like Hilary did (tried to get Rep. vote so now Dems are mad).

Sure there would be changes with Ron Paul but they would be good changes as opposed to bad changed like a Dem would make. Seriously all the Dems talk about is helping minorities and lazy people get money and benefits they don't deserve. They say that you shouldn't discriminate because of skin color, so how come a black person exactly the same as me has a much easier time getting into a college than I do. How come a Hispanic person will get a job if we both are equal and apply for it. It's probably because if they gave it to me the ACLU would claim racism. The Dems and most of the Reps are bad choices.

Ron Paul wins most of the polls anyway. I heard on Drudge a sound clip from a strawpoll election that doesn't count for anything and when they read that Ron Paul got 5th all his followers cheered and it was 10 times as loud as all the other cheers.
      Go Ron Paul '08!

Bush sucks (thank god we don't have to worry bout him anymore)

      Obama sucks

      Clinton sucks the most.

      RON PAUL FOR THE WIN!

I feel Hilary is manipulating us. I think Obama is too inexperienced.
      Know your candidate dammit!

That's actually what the Venezuelan president is doing right now to his country. Slowly, however.

Am I correct, or totally misinformed? (I know absolutely NOTHING about the other candidates.)
It is very early for this much rhetoric to be going around about the nomination for the next president.
The closer it gets, you will find that they will have more debates and become more vocal in their stance.
The candidates are feeling the other candidates out at this point. It is similar to a chess match. Nobody wants to make too big of a move.
Know one has the guts to throw out there where they really stand on touchy issues.
It is easy to say you are going to fix social security, fix the health care system or education reform.
In short order, you will have so much information you will want to some of it back up.

[EDIT]Because this poll is subjective in nature moved it to extended discussion

People voted for Bush, as a Joke right?

And I don't mean this poll, I mean the elections a few years ago.

Barack. Seems like a decent guy. Probably not exactly jesus, but certainly the lesser evil so it seems.

Yes, Had the people voted for any of the other running candidates at that time, they would be here like you are here mocking the president, if things went sour as they have.

      IF.

I couldn't think of any possible president that could fuck up as badly as Bush and his goons.
