I just think that this "debate" ain't going to work because *and I'm saying this as HYPOTHETICAL* the highly patriotic members on here aren't going to believe if the US tortures. Or in the case that they have to admit that the US does indeed torture, they will have to believe that there was a good "cause" for it because according to them their country can't do no wrong ect.

So it won't work.

Obviously you were right when you said that you have given this thread "just mere glances". The next time you comment, you should consider actually reading what people have said first.
