Since your understanding is fine. You must have no problems. Since you have an opinion of your own. You must know what to think about 911. But you state that you don't know what to think about 911.

First of all, when there's all sorts of people crying "conspiracy!" when one even mentions 9/11, it is quite possible for one to be somewhat confused on the whole thing. To be honest, I'd rather leave 9/11 as a tragedy and get on with sorting out the mess certain politicians have created in its wake.

Well, in any war dealing with insurgency, you are dealing with a hearts and minds game. Going in guns blazing will only worsen the situation. To deal with insurgency, one must naturally deal with the people in the area affected. So what would be causes for insurgency? Most of the time, poverty.... as in lack of money, education, and hope. Nothing is more dangerous than a desperate person. So, in order to combat insurgents, one must win the hearts and minds of the people the insurgents rely on for information and recruits. And that means improving infrastructure and developing the necessary relations so to stop the people in question from being turned into insurgents. However, this is by no means an easy feat, and it is a long term struggle. But as with certain cases (Iraq and Afghanistan), because we did too little too late with regards to cleaning up the mess we made by invading the countries, the problem of insurgency developed into what we are so familiar with now. So, my stance on the whole thing is, whilst I do not support the war, I feel one must keep troops stationed, not as an occupational force, but to clean up the mess politicians have created. These countries literally need to be rebuilt, and unfortunately, we have the responsibility of doing exactly that.

I have a better idea. Be a part of the solution by getting a video camera and taping this war live. Come back and tell me what you see then....After that we can discuss the footage and what should be done about it.

Wow... a post which has effectively said absolutely nothing except an attempt to be witty. I'm gonna say this... either reply with something more substantial and contribute (the keyword here for you) to the discussion, or don't bother posting at all.

Bluefinger it's not witty, it's common sense. First witness the situation yourself so you know what is going on. Then talk about solving it. The reason you don't think this is a good idea is because you would rather think you know everything without taking the effort to understand anything. A circle of dumbness. Some nobody dipshit blog guy says an FBI guy says the FBI says there is no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11 even though there is a confession tape. I'm sold.

A: Physical evidence of the Towers states that a collapse of the fashion that occured is impossible from a collision with a passenger aircraft.

B: If physical evidence shows that the reported event could not have happened the way that it was said to have happened by the Government, and if the Government indeed had something to gain by the twin towers collapsing (Going to war with Iraq)

C: Then the government has been dishonest or complicit in the portryal the 9:11 events
