Last time it was during summer solstice, and that can be roughly linked to when the Youger Dryas period ended abruptly. The Younger Dryas was a cooling period that lasted a few thousand years and formed the ice bridge which allowed humans to make it to the new world originally. When it ended abruptly like that, for no apparent cause, tons of island and sea adjacent civilizations had to start over.
Not only that, but it appears the cro magnums were wiped out by a volcano around 26,000 years ago. The reason I'm mentioning this is because time didn't just stop at this period, something devastating occurred around this time. It could take decades, like the ending of the younger dryas did, but when perceiving it from intervals of thousands of years, it still pretty accurately says we're going to face some sort of disasterous period.
