No-one here even vaguely believes 100% of what 'the government' have to say. We are, however, realistic in our speculations as to what we are lied to about.

You've taken the most exciting assumption and stuck to it, regardless of the fact that you have no proof whatsoever to support it.
It is feasible that the government could have 'alien technology that could destroy the world' - which sounds exactly like the movies, interestingly - but highly unlikely. You're taking the assumption and ignoring all evidence that goes against it.

At no stage do I feel the need to make the massive leap of speculation and assumption and assert that they have captured alien spacecraft.
You're making these gigantic leaps of imagination because, quite frankly, you want them to be true. You want the US government to be a shady, mysterious and covert, you want it to have dark alien secrets that it keeps from you. You like the idea that others are ignorant of the truth, and that you alone have the vision to see it. You like the idea that there are men in black suits and unmarked cars who will visit you should you see an alien encounter, you like it that there is one world order and that all the media tells us is a facade, an illusion.
Because you want these things you are far more willing to make this leap of speculation with scant regard for the facts or reason. To automatically connect a white dot in the sky with alien life and a government cover-up.
That aside, how many conspiracy theorists aren't American? The only British one I know of is David Icke.
