Thread: A very real conspiracy

Corruption seems to be the norm for political affairs in this country recently. Our system needs to undergo some sort of catharsis, although it seems like the only way possible is for it to be a violent one, which isn't really a solution. Somehow we need to break the pattern of corruption leading to military coupe and then vice versa.

Very interesting! I knew that there has to be a lot of bribery in our court system, but seeing as this went all the way to congress, this looks bigger than a lot of others. I'll be sure to look out for more information on this.

Mystic, what do you think about the subject of this thread? You know... the government conspiracy that is unfolding. You have yet to even talk about it.

Correction: Mike Moore was defending MCI "against" Balducci's plaintiff client. Apparently Moore wanted some of the money that client was trying to get from MCI, so MCI's own lawyer screwed them to get a piece of the judgment pie. The FBI will most likely be indicting them any day now.

Mike Moore, as Mississippi Attorney General, was one of the frontmen in the tobacco litigation of the 90's, as was Dickie Scruggs.

Okay, I think I see where you are coming from. Perhaps if we were in person, this would be much easier to understand.

I respect the way you are replying to people, I think you will agree with me that people are having difficultly in seeing why you respond the way you do. This does not make you better than them by any means, but it does create some difficulty in conveying the intended message, right?

Well, you apparently overlooked how the conspiracy apparently reaches the U.S. Congress, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and makes laws for the entire country and has a significant effect on the entire world, you overlooked my point about how such a sitution illustrates what could be going on everywhere, and you failed the troll test so miserably you were given no chances for a re-test about a year ago. Your father should be proud.

I'm no expert on the subject. I just wanted to say it sucks, and what are you going to do about it? Nothing. talk about it some more. How is it going to help you? This entertainment is helping me.

Bobby Delaughter has been suspended. Jackson mayor Frank Melton is being investigated for corrupt dealings with Ed Peters. Dickie Scruggs pled guilty to one count of bribing a public official and got a five year prison sentence, so far. AND.... Senators Joe Biden and Fred Thompson, both of whom ran for president this year, are being looked into in regard to corrupt involvement with Dickie Scruggs and his legion of criminals.

These are not big news stories yet, but the word I am getting is that they will be. It looks like there are very powerful Democrates and Republicans working together, and that kind of dangerous combination can apparently do a lot to make the media shut up. The word I am getting is that this big scenario is not going to be a big news story until all of its major players are in prison. Dickie Scruggs is known by the feds as one of the most powerful non-famous people in the country, and Fred Thompson, Trent Lott, and Joe Biden are three of the most powerful people in the country period. It looks like they are doing a lot to keep things quiet. The picture is still a good bit fuzzy, so all I can really tell you now is to stay tuned. It will most likely turn into something enormous.
