Thread: Planet X Approaching 2012.

I happen to know nothing about Planet X, astrology, or the like. I know very little about 2012, except that its the end of the Mayan Calendar (when we talked about it in class, and our teacher said five minutes later that it was more accurate than the English calendar, I jokingly say "lets wait until after 2012, then see who's most accurate" ...but I digress). I am one of those people who have just been reading this thread, passing over the arguments and merely assuming which side is right.

Here's something I DO know, however, and I'm surprised no one has brought this up.

If we prove that Planet X is real (yes, this conglomerate of... given, we are gifted people, but I wouldn't call us MENSA members) and that its going to destroy the world, great. If we disprove it, fantastic.

But if you go all of the members of Dream Views to agree one way or the other, would it make a damned bit of difference? This small population amidst all the skeptics and doomsayers in the world?

This thread is utterly pointless, unless you really CARE whether its real or not. If you don't believe its real, and it is, you die. If you do believe its real, you won't convince enough people to make a damned bit of difference, so you'll die too. So what does it matter what you believe?

It matters to me because it pains me to see people so easily duped. In such times, succeptable people waste time, energy, and money. All resources that could be spent on real problems.

But its just as impossible for you to convince the doomsayers as it is for them to convince you. Don't you understand that?

Use your gift of a skeptic intellect on the real problems, and stop wasting YOUR time on this, which isn't the problem.

Believe me, minds that are "wasted" on this sort of thing really won't make a difference for the real problems anyway XD

I'm not trying to convince the OP, necessarily. Those who post such garbage are usually beyond hope. I'm trying to keep more people from falling under the spell of percieved doom.

Well, just take what I said, and switch it around with "people who would believe it". XD

I sorta get your point. But you're much more patient than I am.

It's one of my many missions in life to save innocent people from bad science.

I saw a documentary about the "new-born Christians" today... It was horrible to see little kids (6 year olds) getting brain washed by a preacher.
Now THAT is a problem...those kids cannot think for themselves yet and are easy targets...

Don't let this thread sum up your perception 2012. Research 2012. As far as this thread is concerned...it's pretty much bullshit. You have more "credible" (and I use that term loosely) sources out there other than this.

As for my concern, i have no intention to make anyone believe that something is coming. My intentions are simple, reveal and disappear.
By that i mean, let people decide their own path. They see what they see, they perceive what they want to perceive. Thats all i have to say.

Some people tend to use hate and "Jealousy" to make them selfs happy, and yet their inner self knows that it is wrong. proving me wrong, will change nothing, because nothing has been changed from the information.

A possibility is what counts in this situation. We are capable on accepting anything, and yet reject its existence. For this, we are capable to peek into our own imagination and invent things that haven't been invented. It all started in your head.

There is a good saying : Knowledge becomes Power, when one learns how to apply it correctly.
