Yeah, it's not like I created the thread to bait you into saying something(s) stupid.

      Or something

Thanks for your contribution to the Obama campaign--every little bit helps.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

No, she caught flack over her first statement, so she threw in a safety word the second time. Even if that were not true, my point would still stand. Her statement was idiotic even when she used the word "really". There is plenty to be really proud of the United States for that happened before this year, and it was stupid to make that comment when her husband was running for president. Neither of you can find your way around that.

Michelle Obama is insignificant any way.

Thanks for showing how dodgy, wrong, and intellectually dishonest Obama supporters are.

When you made the point about "really", did you honestly not know about the first video? I am not sure if you were being dishonest or uninformed. It is definitely one of the two. Which one?

Why do you want to have these conversations when all you end up doing is lying? What is the point?

I never liked chess--always more fond of Go. So we can agree that there are no more meaningful moves to be made and let others determine who claimed the most territory.

I'd say that was more an exchange of opinions, insults and baseless claims than anything we could call a debate. The initial exchanges on the 'bimbo' question made for a pretty sweet ironic parallel to the interpretation of Mrs. Obama's "proud" statements, though.

      Lulz have been had.

I'm sure your tenure as a highschool geometry teacher makes you more than equipped to beat a doctor of law in honest debate. I'm sure your patented straw man tactic will leave her guessing. As long as you never admit defeat you're never wrong, right?

My law degree and business knowledge might help too. I don't teach geometry any more, Mr. Assumptions. Now actually give a counterargument to something I said. You don't do that so much in this forum. I think we both know why that is.

      Pics or it didn't happen.

I really can't be arsed to argue at you UM. I'm not amused by shouting at brick walls. I will, however, provide links to all of my previous well sourced arguments that I've made on this forum that you usually meet with the classic strawman side step (as you like to call, "Ole' reliable") If you so desire.

      Oh, and also;

I'm afraid that does not quite qualify as a counterargument. But it was an amusing blowing of hot air, as usual.

      Red: no.
Green: yes - that's a matter of current policy and not history.
Blue: maybe - humanitarian aid doesn't itself justify killing.

An organization is defined by what it does. If a 'good' country suddenly turns around and starts screwing everyone over, I wouldn't consider it the same country.
In same way one can feel proud for certain things but not others - and compare the America of the past to the America of 2008.
