In post #59, I quoted you and then cleared things up for you. You suggested that I had no reason for calling Michelle Obama a bimbo, so I showed you where I explained why I did it. All you did in return was go off on an irrelevant tangent. Therefore, my point still stands.

Uh, I am not the one who took issue with the fact that I called Michelle Obama a bimbo. That is a term I threw out there in the process of explaining just how stupid her comment was and just how stupid it was of her to say it when her husband is running for president. The nature of her comment is the topic of this thread. Any time you want to debate those points instead of a much smaller issue, let me know, but make sure you have what is known as a "counterargument". Do you know what that is? Harping on a sub-issue and then trying to act like I am the one who made it the main issue when really you did does not qualify.

You still haven't made anything that qualify as a "point".

Your statement was absurd and unintentionally ironic to a degree that could not be ignored. You referred to someone whose education and accomplishments indicate not only unusual intelligence, but also focus and civic-minded purpose, as a 'bimbo.' Okay, ironic enough in that you just said something profoundly stupid to insult someone else's intelligence.

Insofar as the only criteria of 'bimbo' she meets is gender, the statement struck me as betraying a general disrespect for women, which I pointed out. At this point, you might have said, "Oh, well, I wasn't aware of all her accomplishments. It was a stupid thing she said, but I guess bimbo was going a bit far," maybe throwing in a dig at me to save face. Instead, you proceeded to argue against my interpretation of your statement with a narrow, decontextualized interpretation of her statement.

At this point, you had so thoroughly undermined any argument you could make that there was nothing to be salvaged from the 'debate' but lulz.
