Don't be a moron. Meteors like this fall all the time. Meteors are also extremely valuable, and are often recovered by helicopter.

Who said it was impossible? And the US government, NASA in particular, is always interested in recovering falls, because sending out a chopper is often cheaper than paying some hick tens of thousands of dollars for a rare chondrite or whatever. And these things are rare, I assure you.

And how would the average layman know what a meteor looks or sounds like? That depends on many factors, like mass, speed, angle of approach, cloud cover, etc.

He worked as chief of security for the airport of LAX. Do you think he would be able to tell what a Meteor is? I think everyone can. Watch the actual story. It's not realistic to assume it's a Meteor and that people can't tell the difference. The marks on the ground and the way it crashed shows us different obviously.

Also you have no reason to believe it was some chondrite or whatever you wanted to make up on the spot without being there or anything. You only just herd the story from me. And if it was they would tell us because they would have nothing to hide.

Believe what you want though I find your denile amusing. There will be plenty of News. This is just a recent event. You can't ignore it all it will start to look dumb.

I'm not trying to convince you. I'm just putting the facts out there for the benefit of other readers.

What you said wasn't facts at all for any benefit just mostly conclusions that go against basic things of what we know and what we know from the report.

That was the team that is on constant standby to retrieve crashed UFOs. Look how many helicopters there were and fighter surveillance trucks on the ground all within 17 minutes of the crash.

All I'm saying is what you said is not realistic when you consider this case. It goes against what's presented here.

I didn't know meteors glowed turquoise, could adjust the speed at which they fell, and have very smooth symmetrical appearances. Please, it could not have been any meteor we are currently knowledgeable of.

Drewmandan, what led you to assume that if it wasn't a meteor, it has to be aliens? No one in the news report said anything about aliens, just that they made it clear it wasn't a meteor and that it was unidentified otherwise

The glow depends on what they're made of. The speed changing was probably an illusion, and everything looks symmetrical when it's burning up in the atmosphere.

Let him talk rubbish. There is plenty more to cover yet.

the only thing i'd say about the the mans report if it slowing then speeding, it must have happened quite quickly and could have been an illusion, if it's been suggested to him by the news crews they think it's a weird object he'd be more inclined to think he saw it slow down and speed up again.

Also since he said he saw a truck convoy moving a surveillance looking craft, it could well have been a stealth bomber or something of the sort. Maybe the greenish glow of it falling was a trick of the light and it was actually an unmanned stealth craft crashing. If it was an alien vessel( since he said it looked like a "stealth fighter") i'd imagine it would be damaged beyond recognition after a crash like that, it's not like you design a spacecraft to take a direct collision into a planet, i'd imagine no matter what it's structure it would break apart.

Could be an alien ship though, ya never know.

Another roswell like incident. I'm glad there's more and more UFO stories on the news nowadays.

I'd assume that since there is no other intelligent life in our observable section of the universe, that if aliens did come all the way to our planet, they would probably know about stronger materials than us that wouldn't be completely destroyed on impact.

I find it silly not to believe in aliens. Because since life occurred on earth, we have to conclude that life is possible in the universe. To suggest that our tiny insignificant part of the universe is the only region in the entire universe with intelligent life comes off as ignorant to me.

Also, of course the government would hide information about aliens from us, have you seen what they call "news" now a days? They tell us what they want us to hear to try to blind us from the truth so that we can be controlled easier. The government is still denying area 51, even though it is really obviously exists; and they don't stop there.

A smart one you are. Slight correction though. The government is no longer denying the existence of area 51. They did in the past but not anymore. It went from:

Even physicists who know enough about solid state physics don't know how far we can push the boundaries of material strength. Just because we can't yet make impact resistant hulls for air/spacecraft (on the civilian side, so far as we know) does in no way mean that it is not feasible. We could be 10 years away from that technology, or 1,000. More, maybe, who can say? We might discover it tomorrow. It is certainly not impossible.

If the object did slow down and speed up, before hitting the ground, it might have been a (quite convenient) illusion. However it might have also been a last ditch effort, from who/whatever was piloting the "craft" to reduce the impact. Cause, you know, if you have it within your power to keep from smashing head first into a planet, you might want to try the reverse thrusters one last time.

I don't necessarily buy the concept of such government secrecy over a meteor. Hell, a meteor fell out of the sky, came through someone's window and burned a hole straight through their computer desk - a little while ago - and the government didn't show up with a convoy of vans and take it away.

Sure. It could be a meteor, but telling someone "don't be a moron" just because they posted a video of UFO News (because, you know, it IS "UFO News") is pretty ignorant. Skepticism is good, but don't be so close-minded that nothing gets in.

It is a UFO, of course. Which means we don't know what it is. I really don't think UFO and alien space ship should be as interchangeable as people allow them to be.
