She only said all that because she was hurt. If she wasn't hurt by something you've done (or didn't do) then she wouldn't have responded so harshly. Don't get angered and call her a bitch...calling you names and acting in anger is her only way to vent. Usually the emotions during breakup trials fluctuate from anger to sorrow filled tears and back and forth. Believe it or not, she's probably hurting by this. If you want some advice and are genuinely interested in getting her back or remaining friends with her...I suggest you disarm her anger by shooting at her with calmness, disarm her hurt by shooting at her with sympathy and understanding. Disarm her offensiveness by NOT being defensive, hear her out, don't interrupt and seriously try and resolve what happened.

If you don't give a fuck though...disregard this entire post. This post only assumes that you CARE about her and her feelings.

I feel that it does not matter what a relationship is based on as long as both parties are upfront about what they want. If she never told him that she was having these concerns, how was he to know? And what's up with the "time-limit" on saying the big 'L'?

Folks set themselves up to be unhappy (referring to the girl).

I agree, you don't have to "love" someone to date them, and there's no certain point in time when "love" just occurs. Also, her reference to another couple saying they "love" each other is irrelevant. Just because they "love" each other doesn't mean everyone together does/will. She should have addressed her problems to him if she was that torn up over them. I think her letter showed she's really immature how she belittled herself to having to curse at him.
