I would not go as far to say that I have an enlightened view on the world, but I would say I might have a more mature view on the world than others. Things are not so simple that you can simply separate them into black white and the shade of gray in the middle. Things are far more complex than that in the workings of the world. I am sure everyone can agree to this.

Dude, you don't have to be a jew to be circumcised. 99.9 of all male babies born in the U.S. are circumcised.

This is an interesting point...I would say it probably has to do less with race and more about "minority" status. For example, a white indivdual would probably be looked upon like that by some people in an area where whites are the minority, such as Mexico or Africa.

And shouldn't this list be looked at more as a list of injustices or things to correct in society?

That's a harsh way to put it, but I would guess than an uncircumcised person would be less likely to become impotent becuase the organ is better protected. The only reason why jews do it is for the same reason jews dont eat pork. It is based of being clean, and healthy. Back in ancient times I bet it was incredibly easy to get your penis infected, so they thought that circumcision was good. Jews dont eat pork because pork can be hard to cook properly and can make you very sick, imagine trying to cook pork over a campfire and being super hungry.. It all ties in with being 'kosher'.

Maybe half of the things she said were accurate then, but I find most of these claims just silly compared to today. And some of what she complained about had nothing to do with race, but instead money. Another thing which made me annoyed was the claims she was making that essentially living in a place that has a larger population of your race is somehow a privileged status... I don't see how that is but ok.

I think something like that is a big choice and should be left up to the person who it is being done to. Let boys grow up before you start performing surgeries on them that actually can wait...

And actually, in many hospitals during the time I was born you actually had to opt out of having your child circumcised if you didn't want him circumcised.

I don't see how it's mutilation.

It has benefits, when the kid is a baby you don't have to roll his foreskin back to clean him. I'm definitely circumcizing my kid.

You're cutting off a bit of him that doesn't need to be cut off. Lets all cut off babies pinkie toes! Come on guys, it will be easier to fit into shoes. It has its benefits.

I wouldn't know because I am circumcised, but uncircumcised people, and people who became circumcised later in life, say that sexual pleasure for them is greater with foreskin, and that after circumcision it is lessened dramatically. Sorry son, I know you want to enjoy sex, but when you were little I wanted it to be easier to clean you.

It is just a blood ritual some crazy people came up with, and it should be done away with imo.
