The world has always been crazy.

You're just becoming more attune to it.

many of these places where there is a war, there has been some sort of war or struggle for as long as man has set foot in those areas

suffering, its not new

but heres what is new. now these days we have societies that have evolved so much - that we no longer know what that suffering is. so we look at the suffering and we say "where did this come from?". It's so alien to us. When really its always been there or over there or here for a very long time.

We are living at an amazing time, where we can connect to every corner of the globe. Communication and information, becomes more and more instant

And while to us it seems the world is going crazy, rather we are just becomming more and more aware of whats BEEN going on. Our information and global communication age is allowing us to lift every stone.

What we do when all stones are lifted, thats for us to decide

I think the same. For a society to evolve, first we have to go througth all our old notions of what the correct living standard was and realize them for the malarky that they are. To purify the pond, first all the shit has to rise to the surface. It's been there, only now we're becoming conscious of it, which is the first step to cleaning it up.

It's always been like this.

The media has a tendency to slant their reports, but not too badly.

We have recorded countless wars/warlike actions. As insensitive as it is to say it, the conflict in the Middle East is just the latest to be added to the list. I haven't seen any numbers, but I'm sure this isn't as bad as World War II and all the people killed in that particular Holocaust.

Not to mention WW1.
Or America's Civil War.
Or the actions taken by the Soviet Union.
Or Rome conquering everything.

We are seeing the same pattern repeating over and over, just in different geographic locations.

Regardless, the Muslim and Isreali outlook on the situation is insane. As part of our training, we have muslims from the mid east come talk to us about the culture. They are tought from birth that Jews should be killed on sight. Same for the Jews against Muslims. It is taught in their schools every single day. Its a sad and pathetic conflict that none of us understand.
