Thumbs up The Way to Prevent Migraines!

      Hello there!

I do not know if this has been posed before, as the search function is currently not working for me.

I take 400mg of Magnesium every day, I do not get migraines anymore! My aunt, who used to get severe migraines every other day discovered this. She started to take Magnesium and within several days she stopped getting migraines. My entire family we have learned has a genetic magnesium deficiency (I think thats what it was), and we get migraines. EVERY single member of my family does not get migraines any more!

And my laziness even tested this too. I didn't take it for about 2 weeks, and sure enough I got one.

By the way this is how my migraines go:

      First symptoms:
      Tunnel Vision
      Single Numb Hand
      Blind Spot

      Actual Migraine:
      Lasts around 12 hours.
Vomit every 3-6 min, if I have nothing to spew in me I dry-heave
      Very Bad Headache
      Not able to speak
      Losing control of Limbs
I think I may even get HI during it, because when I close my eyes during it I go into random very non-vivid scenes.

      I hope this helps!

Very interesting.. But what you also described is also known as a migraine attack too?

I think I get them every few months and I will say they are the worst head aches you can possibly get.

Since magnesium deficiency is not the only cause of migraines, it is unlikely that your prescription will work for very many of us.

      Well, it's worth a try isn't it?

I am just trying to help others who like me, medication hasn't helped at all.

Hm. I might ask my doctor about this.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

Looking through my old threads, I found this one. I'd just like to say that I've found a better solution to getting rid of migraines if you are to catch the symptoms (which for me are obvious for each incident).

Climax, yes sexually. The opening of bloodflow for me literally make the migraine go away, and I don't have horrid experience. Instead, I end up having just these "waking dream" experiences only, which are rather entertaining as I am lucid in nearly all of them.

Researching online, it seems as though I'm not the only one to have found this solution to work better than any medication that has been previously prescribed.

I hope this helps/works for those who have migraines like myself. (It should be noted that because of this discovery, I haven't had migraine since around the original posting of this thread, and I no longer take magnesium.)
