      Has this happened to anyone??

Has anyone ever been dreaming in a dream? kind of like the movie inception.

I was dreaming, and i had no control over it, after a while of dreaming i wake up. Everything is normal, and i THINK i could control myself can't really remember. I thought everything was real, i walked into my kitchen, Until my wall Absorbed me (weird) THEN i really woke up. I had to check if i wasn't dreaming.

Hell yea, at one point a few months ago that was the main way I became lucid. I wouldn't at all suspect anything until I lay down in a dream, and for some reason that made me somehow just know I was dreaming, and ta-da, I was lucid.

I also read something a long time ago from one of those dreaming/spiritual gurus that it's a good technique to enhance dream clarity and quality. You had to just lie down and "sleep" and you would end up in another dream scene but more vivid, or something like that.

It's never happened to me before but I think you had a false awakening where everything seems real and the dream is very vivid but it is still a dream and if u manage to notice anything strange or do a reality check it is an easy way to become lucid.

Lucid dreams always fade to black for me and if I try hard enough I can transport to a different spot before waking. When I did this, it usually resulted in an obvious false awakening. I wouldn't have any doubt that I was still dreaming because my room would form around me as I'm laying on my bed. I didn't realize what had happened once though and I thought that I was awake. I got up and turned on my shower. I was wondering why everything seemed so dark and why the water never got hot. Then I realized that I was dreaming. False awakenings are pretty shocking.
