Hell yea, at one point a few months ago that was the main way I became lucid. I wouldn't at all suspect anything until I lay down in a dream, and for some reason that made me somehow just know I was dreaming, and ta-da, I was lucid. |

Has anyone ever been dreaming in a dream? kind of like the movie inception. |

Lolwut.
It's never happened to me before but I think you had a false awakening where everything seems real and the dream is very vivid but it is still a dream and if u manage to notice anything strange or do a reality check it is an easy way to become lucid. |

Lucid dreams always fade to black for me and if I try hard enough I can transport to a different spot before waking. When I did this, it usually resulted in an obvious false awakening. I wouldn't have any doubt that I was still dreaming because my room would form around me as I'm laying on my bed. I didn't realize what had happened once though and I thought that I was awake. I got up and turned on my shower. I was wondering why everything seemed so dark and why the water never got hot. Then I realized that I was dreaming. False awakenings are pretty shocking. |
