It's definitely possible, and it's probably easier than you think - all you have to do is expect or "know" that you have powers of some sort, summon the object or whatever obstacle, then expect to be unable to fly/be invisible/etc. |

So when you are lucid, supposedly, you can do anything you want. You basically have every super power you can dream of, correct? (I've never LDed so I'm not sure if there are any limits) |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

That's totally possible. Normally the only limitation (that I know of) is yourself. You could passively stop yourself from being able to use any ability but what's the point? |

You would have to convince yourself that this cryptonite had the power you wish for it to have. The fact of the matter is that in the end, you WOULD have the ability to disarm this cryptonite, because you COULD still do anything you wanted to do. You could create something that takes away your power, if you believe that it does, but if you lose faith in that item's ability you would then be able to do these things after all. |

---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
Disbelief is a lucid dreamers kryptonite. |
