Thread: Dream within a Dream

Okay, so this all started out with me running through a Team Rocket-esque kind of warehouse, listening for dogs. I had on some sort of armour suit and a tazer gun, and I was rescuing the dogs from a kidnapping. It turned out that it was Snoop Dog (I remember specifically thinking of him as Snoop Dog, not Snoop Lion) who had kidnapped the dogs and wanted to ransom them. In a small room where the dogs were penned in behind me we attacked each other. I tazed him and he stabbed me in the arm. I remember very plainly that it was painful at that point, though nothing severe. Although when I looked at it the cut was three inches long, two inches deep (long enough for me to peel the skin back a bit and see bone). The weirdest part was, although other colours in the dream were rather bleak, my blood and the inner flesh was bright blue.

At that point I woke up in the guest bedroom at my parents house/home. This is the room I usually sleep in when everyone is home. At this point it was a lucid dream, but I didn't realize it since everything seemed so normal. Except waking up with the cut. I walked outside to find my dad and uncle working with the backhoe. I walked up to my dad and said I had to go get stitches, although the cut didn't hurt at all at this point. It was a little numb and right before my dad came to check it the blood turned red. My dad started panicking, worried about the hand I write and draw with, and started getting ready to go to the hospital. I spent the whole time examining my arm, and why on Earth the blood would change colour.

I snapped awake somewhat violently in reality, jerking in bed and carefully looking over my arm. Throughout the day I kept catching glimpses of that colour blue and would immediately check my arm, it was so clear and vivid.

Anyone else had a similar experience? I'm still fascinated by my arm and how it isn't actually cut, even though I didn't feel the pain it feels like its scarred or something. I'm particularly interested in what the blue blood could mean, since I never had anything like it in my dream before, and there's rarely blood at all.
