Have You Ever Had a Dream About Dying?

Now I realize that the idea is a bit depressing, but I had one recently last night. It was actually a very happy dream, I remember seeing several of my old friends and some other things. The dream really begins to blossom when someone I know and had considered to be a friend said they were going to kill me.

We were inside of a car together and I realized that I wasn't really bothered by this. He drove the car straight into a large body of water, I remember falling for a long time. Suddenly I'm in a mall type area with two doors. There are things to lure you into either room, I end up going with the second and find that I've become an angel.

After this I speak to several people, some of which talk directly to god, and another angel who later in the dream I fall in love with.

Over all this dream lasted for an extremely long time and was one of the most enjoyable dreams that I've ever had. I was just wondering what kind of experiences other people have had with dying dreams.

I have had a few dreams about dying.. In one I was running away from Michael Myers. Jumping over people sun bathing on lawn chairs at a public pool when I fell in a hot tub and was sucked to the bottom, by my back. I looked up at the sun through the water and let out my last breath as black set in.

Another dream I was in my old neighborhood running from a huge mob of people trying to kill me. I barricaded myself upstairs in a house as people rush in, I noticed an old classmate with a gun and I tried to convince him otherwise but I eventually took three shots and died. In the end of that dream I came back as a spirit listening to my old friends talk about my death, but I could not talk back.

I just had a nasty dream about dying and that's why I decided to register to these forums to share it and get an opinion.

Yours doesn't sound bad at all, except for the part where you are betrayed by a friend.

Here is a cool dream about death that I had long time ago that I will hardly forget because it felt so real (that's a different dream than the death dream, because of which I registered here): I dreamed of being woken up in my own bed by a deep and load thud noise and seeing a bright light and nuclear bomb detonated in the distance. I instantly realized what was happening and seconds later it was all dark and then I woke up. I actually woke up in the same bed where the dream was taking place and because of this you can tell why the dream felt so real. It was one of the coolest death dreams I've had though because it involved a nuke

I just remembered that I did.

I was an astronaut running out of air. My support team was trying to fix it. I made a phonecall to my mom to say my last goodby. I was wondering how it will feel, was more curious than scared.
Then I ran out of air but I was still breathing.

I got a microchip implanted in my palm and I could see the tiny antenae sticking out through my skin. Then the rescue helicopter flew by my kitchen (oddly enough, that's where this drama was unfolding) and I knew I'll be rescued. Wohoo! All in all, not a bad dream.
