I have never had or at least never recall any nightmares. Has anyone else had this experience? and any suggestions why this is happening? |

Generally, nightmares arise from fears from your waking life, or irrational fears of yours such as clowns or something like that. I didn't have nightmares until I got clean from opiates, so I would say it's just because you have no overwhelming fears or worries. If you do you can still address those in your dreams through archetypal control, but that's hard to master. |

I'm kind of the same as you, I don't really have nightmares, none that I can recall. It's, as said above, from our fears in your waking life becoming evident in your dreams. |

Same for me. Haven't had a nightmare for years. The last one I remember is when I was like 6 years old. Sometimes in non lucids, creepy stuff happens or ill die all of a sudden in a scary way. But I'm never actually frightened or anything. |

I haven't had a nightmare since I was nine. Are y'all really confident normally? Are y'all not very stressfull? Never worries about anything? Because that is what I have always attributed my nightmareless nights. |

I personally see myself as a confident individual, and don't let stress get to me. I have lots of creative outlets and I'm overall a pretty satisfied, motivated person. Easy going. I think that's probably for me. Is that the same for you, Brandon? The rest of you; Chief? |

I wouldn't say I ever get nightmares. I've had dreams where I was in discomfort, but I don't recall any that were purely terror. |

I haven't had a nightmare since I was a very young kid. I have dreams that should be nightmares, but I am never afraid in the dream, nor do I wake up afraid... so I wouldn't call it a nightmare. And most of the time If they are nightmare-ish enough, I'll become lucid just from that. |
|
I'm in the same boat too. Most of the dreams that would usually be considered nightmares I have are just more actiony in my mind. I don't get scared in my dreams unless they're related to opiate problems. The other night I had a dream that alien terrorists were doing a hostile takeover of the world, and I was leading the failing resistance. That was actually one of my more fun dreams. |

I do no have nighmares anymore. I am to old for that. What I have a lot is axiety dreams. |

You're missing out on a lot. Nightmares are terrifying but they're so dam interesting. After watching silent hill I've been having these dreams where I'm in these rusty buildings. Like totally orange and everything's old, falling apart. People who don't get nightmares never get to experience stuff like that. I actually enjoy my rusted world dreams. My last really knocked me clean over but they're fun. At least to look back on, at the very least. |

Eh. I'd count yourself lucky. I seem to have nightmares randomly, not very often (maybe 1 a year). While I can't confirm it myself, I'd agree with SaxtonHale that it's because you aren't actively freaking out over anything. I know even if I watch a sick movie it usually doesn't show up in my dreams, and the most likely time I'd have nightmare is if I was sick and feverish. |
