Do Dream Guides Appear In Non-lucid Dreams?

Here's a dream from a few nights ago.
...We explore the house and spirits start attacking us. We can't see it but someone tells me where to shoot and I do. I see blood and I keep shooting where the person tells me to. The spirit then appears and is dying. She's an ugly girl with mossy-like skin....
Was the person telling me where to shoot my dream guide or just a dream character? Whats the best way to find out who my DG is?

      Interesting topic

Well I haven't found my dream guide yet, so I can't speak from experience but I have read people's DJs on here in which their dream guide will appear in non-lucids, sometimes triggering lucidity.

About a month ago I had a non-lucid similar to your experience. I was trying to hide in this bathtub when a woman walked in, the woman thought I was dead. I then heard a disembodied female voice tell me "Stay still and pretend to be dead, don't move" Who knows, maybe it was my dream guide ^^

It would definitely be cool if that was your dream guide. I'm not sure what the best way to find your dream guide is, some people say to just ask for them to appear.

That's a good idea. What I'm doing tonight is making my mantra "I will meet my dream guide" maybe it will help?

I think a dream guide and your subconscious mind are the same thing, like everything else you dream which is just a projection of your imagination. When talking to your dream guide, I really think you're talking to your subconscious because, where else would their information be coming from if you had questions?

Your dream guide can take on any form, even a book that you could consult, but the most common approach is to ask a person. I prefer methods like the former because people sometimes get confusing or no responses from dream characters. Point is, your dream guide is always with you because it is you. So there's a good chance your image of it will appear in dreams, lucid or not, like any other person you know.

      Well said! I completely agree.
