I assume there is no demon trying to get you. I think your brain is just freaking out because you are half asleep and half awake. Normal lucid dreaming can take any form. If you get good at it the chance are you will almost never have nightmares. |

So over the passed 3 nights i have had a reoccuring dream where first the doors in my house open and close and then my bedroom door starts shaky like someone is trying to break in. Then it opens and some black darts across the room and comes back to the end of the bed. I scream at it to get out and when ever i say something the air around me vibrates. I have complete control over everything and i can see my wife, dog, and cat asleep next to me but cant wake them. I thought i woke up and rolled on my side to face the edge of the bed so go back to sleep. The thing was crouched right next to the bed staring me dead in the face then i wake up. Im terrified of whatever is going. I have never tried lucid dreams or anything and idk if this is suppose to mean something or theres a demon trying to get me. |

I'm with Sivason. Lucid dream teacher Charlie Morley often tells a story in his interviews (youtube) of a nightmarish figure that he finally hugged and resolved...check the interviews out and then come back here to learn more. |

Early on I had a big bully of a DC who kept pushing me around until I ended up in a fight with him. I remember in one dream I went through a door and he was standing there in front of the next door looking like a body guard or some other intimidating guy. I walked straight up to him and kept looking him in the eys. Then when I was near him I put my hand out as if to shake his. He paused and finally shook my hand. The DC still showed up a few times after that, but it was a big step in resolving the problem. He has been gone now for many many years. Now I almost never have bad dreams. |

There is no such things as demons. The best thing to do in these kind of circumstances is to just relax, and realize that you are just dreaming, and nothing in the dream can harm you. |
