In short, I want to experience an hour-long, deeply emotional, compelling storyline with a few specific rules and details.

Do I need to lucidly direct the program for this, or can it be plausibly generated? I want it to be non-lucid, because lucidity ruins the deep emotion and convincing atmosphere; knowing that my actions will have no real consequences just kills the impact. What if I laid out the rules and specifics ahead of time, would that work well? How do I make my brain generate something good that's not a mess? Or, am I just plum out of luck?
