Once when I was 12, I dozed off while reading in bed, and when I woke up I was crying. It seems to me that there was a song in my head that I had listened to about 1 year earlier (when I was 11). This was connected to a feeling as though I had a lost memory associated with the song. Not something upsetting that was suppressed, but something that was beautiful and I couldn't remember it. I found that when I listened to the song, as well as some others, this forgotten memory was associated with it. But I never quite figured out what it was. |
