Thread: Gay Dreams?

This is all product of your subconcious the important thing is not to get freaked out by this dreams, this does NOT mean that youre gay or something like that its just toughts that you have and your subcouncious have repressed becouse you dont like them, but thats is the last thing you have to do. I repeat this is normal, I've had serveral dreams like this, its all abut knowing yourself and not letting this toughts trapped in your subcouncious. just let them "flow" and not get freaked out by them.

(non of my dreams have been gay, but I've had serveral disturbing dreams that are WIERD!)

Wow, sorry to hear about those dreams. They sound really disturbing. They have never happened to me but my guess is, it could happen to anyone. Like Tmer said, it is probably just thoughts that you have bottled up and they are released when you cannot control it. Like the dream about your mother... You have thought about it once and it was probably a disturbing thought that you quickly tried to forget about, then your subconscious brought it out during sleep.

I hope I never get these dreams. They sound worse than any nightmare including death. That is my opinion. I would rather die than have gay sex or anything like that.

Thanks Michael you explained it more properly than I did, I suck at explaining stuff. Plus I speak spanish and its even more confusing to explain.

In all honesty, a couple years ago (I 'never' even thought about it because I was absolutely obsessed with this dream girl) I had homosexual dreams too. I was like 'wtf?'. Needless to say, it's not the first time my subconscious has displayed the most bizarre crap in my dreams.

Heh, gay sex is not that disgusting, though despite my bisexuality, I'm not really a fan of anal stuff either.
Oh and on the topic, again, you're most likely not gay, but you might be a bisexual, but with more heterosexuality in you than homosexuality.

That's sexy.

These things just happen and don't necessarily mean anything, it's just that we think they have more significance when it's something like gay dreams, when they don't necessarily. If you had a dream about killing someone, you probably wouldn't think that that means you would do something like that in real life. These dreams are just the result of thinking about something related to these subjects, not necessarily meaning you're gay or anything. We often don't act like ourselves in dreams anyways, so you can't really conclude anything from these kind of dreams.

Very true. But then again such dreams could be due to the curiousity of the mind, thus the subconscious creates the experience for the individual.

That is true, but in danish we call homosexuals for "bøsser" and I don't really like that word. I'd either just be called a bi, or some whatever.

I had a few gay dreams (well i didnt kissed any men) and in the both dreams in the begining i didnt knew i was with a man.. Really shity. Dont worry if you have gay dreams you are not gay in the same way that if you have dreams in which you are superman you are not superman irl. But there are pluses about gay dreams - easier to reacall.

I have had very similar dreams before, like the other night I had a dream that I was having sex with a really hot girl and then she randomly turned into some muscly dude but I came before I could pull out. Stupid transforming were-woman!!

Sexuality, like so many things we humans have managed to screw up, has become polarized to a ludicrous degree. Our psyche knows this and tries to breach our rigid categories. Gay and lesbian dreams are no big deal. If fact, we would be worse off if we never had them at all; they give us a free pass to sample other perspectives without any need for shame or guilt.

Of course, your dream-self does things that your waking self would never do (not that there's anything wrong with it.) This is nothing to worry about or feel ashamed of; it is the nature of the subconscious--and what you interpret as sex may symbolize something much different.

This is sort of like Ahmadoobijoob telling a gay person in Iran that there aren't gay people in Iran. I'm a guy claiming to be bisexual who's actually bisexual - how are you going to prove this not to be the case?

edit: also, TaZeR, you're evidently attracted to males by some means, even if they're only somnolent ones. What's more telling is your insecurity about what it may or may not imply, and needing to ask strangers on a forum to reaffirm your heterosexuality. If it happens in your sleep, enjoy it. Well im pretty sure im not gay when I think about doing something gay in real life it doesnt feel right or good in anyway its more disgusting, I guess I was also more wondering why it was Commander Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager, I've been watching that series latley a few episodes a day so I see why I dreamt about one of the characters just strange that it was this one and in that sense, Tuvok is a vulcan a race of logical beings who show no emotion so maybe that is connected in some way. Id much rather have a sex dream about 7 of 9 the former borg drone (Jeri Ryan), that I would understand.
