I guess if you're gay then you do HAVE to know it.
But I can understand if people are in question of their sexuality -
People can't just always be like "YES I AM STRAIGHT." or "YES I AM GAY."
I mean, there's a point when you are assured of it, but I've met a ton of guys who when they learn that I'm gay suddenly believe that they can pour out their deepest secrets to me (Because since I'm gay I'll "understand" for some reason =P)
Anyway, they'll be all "Oh I just don't understand...I'm so confused about if I'm gay or not..."

Now, mind you these guys aren't the most stable people on the block but I'm sure that some guys, at at least one point in their life, will feel confusion over which gender they prefer.
Of course, most of these are gays in denial though x3
"Oh I like girls to talk to and hang out with...but I'd rather be sleeping with guys! Oh I'm so confused." lol, that was me four years ago.
LOL Some stories you got there! I was confused as well, but it was more about wether I could change my sexuality or not... Luckilly I gave that up already!

The subconscious never lies, for it is apathic and not inhibited by morality. To paraphrase, you may be homosexual but your thoughts are repressing it, as you do not believe it is socially acceptable for you, yourself, to be gay.

Sure, you might say you're not gay, but you don't know what your mind is currently repressing (which is significant, because it won't be repressed forever), but you're saying that consciously, in a state of moral suppression and repression.

Maybe we'll see in the future.

Yeah, and we're all killers at heart. After all, who hasn't caused great harm to some one in a dream?

You seem to forget that many things go through our minds. Not just things we want to do or desire. Like when people have that teeth falling out dream... yeah, that's because they secretly desire for their teeth to crumble in their mouth.

To believe all that would be taking dreams far too much at face value - after all, dreams comprise mere symbolisms of our unconscious thoughts.

      1. Teeth falling out - could be stress, as something so disturbing is occuring. Not a desire.
      2. Aggression - We all have anger inside us, whether we display it or not.

These are both archetypal dream experiences, having sex with your mother and men with great pleasure is not necessarily one of them.

I cannot see the symbolism of fornicating with your own mother to represent anything other than an immoral desire that cannot be expressed consciously.

Im not gay but i really hate how girls are so fucking lesbian like and dont even admit it and claim its only friendly yet when guys do something not even as bad as that - girls classify it as gay.

      example - greetings methods
guy meets guy - hand shake, if they hug hello - girls says its gay
girl meets girl - hugs numerous times, kisses on cheeks and lips. Practically start finger fucking each other and sucking each other pussy and call it GOOD FRIENDS

well I don't know about the whole sucking each others pussy part, you sure you aint just imaging things?

girls can kiss each other, snuggle each other, shower together, even sleep in the same bed and be 100% straight and 100% all horny for guys. Is it denial? No. Lesbians do other things, like suck each others face and slap butts and boobies.. And even then a girl isn't going to have an orgasmic explosion if she does touch another girls boobies. Why, because if guys aren't around, we have no shame taking off our bras, they're annoying as hell you know? Guys forget they're not sex organs

The reason why girls can kiss and snuggle and still be straight is simple - were not homophobic, not as homophobic as guys at least. GUYS ARE. Guys are so homophobic that two male friends can barely even stand close together before they get nervous of each others FORSAKEN skin

there are however a few guys that do, kiss and snuggle and are straight. Hell, they can be married with kids and totally cool with gay guys. It's not denial, it's acceptance that they love each other, and possibly culture. *Some cultures are more snuggly-wuggly in general, compare the latin world to japan*

Guys are so homophobic, I tend to feel their subconscious is exploding. I mean, there are only so many ways to show you care about a person. And certainly, the homophobic male goes out of his way to show he doesn't really feel anything for a male best friend. So they act like robots around each other. This must be very confusing for the subconscious, the seat of emotions. Thus, the homophobic guy gets secret gay thoughts - and they grow stronger the more he actually cares about another male. DENIAL. ITS CALLED LOVE. ITS OKAY ITS NORMAL TO SHOW SOME SORT OF PHYSICAL AFFECTION!

Just hug a guy and get it over with <- *this banana is so terribly wrong right now*

No, because it couldn't be that Mother represents a loving, noturing women. And no one would want to dream about a loving, nurturing woman.

      Ugh
You could not have been more right.
Men are so so so homophobic...
And you're right - their emotions are rotting away. It's evolution, lol. Soon men will be sex craved robots and shit.

      But I gladly don't see myself as a man - I'm androgynous.
But that doesn't mean that I would go hug a guy. I mean, I'd have to find a guy I want to do that to first =P.

I'm not quite understanding you - are you saying that we should all want to dream about molesting our mothers because they are loving, nurturing women?

      No, sex. Not "molestation".

Girls could be so close that they experiment with eachother, yet if two guys wanted to blow eachother to experiment physical feeling then they're gay? I agree many Women are socially condemned for doing what makes them feel really good.

      Everybody is.

It's this God damned thinking that people have chosen in society.

      Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual.

      It's all the same.

We are humans, who just love defining life about where we put our genitals.

The ignorance, that must stem, from such prudence, will have that inevitable outcome.

Just, because we can't think of anything better than a simple orgasm. It's ridiculous.

I honestly don't think anybody else here would want to dream about having sex with their mother because she is a loving, nurturing woman, despite your apparent sarcasm. Odd.

*sigh* First of all, I never said anyone does - or should - want to dream about loving-up Mommy Dearest. We're talking about what it might mean IF some one were to have such a dream. Surely you don't think every dream is a literal iteration of a real-life desire.

Dream images and characters are representations of ideas, thoughts, schemas, and random/pseudo-random connections. In dreams, our common sense and will are severely hampered. If you find yourself drinking the juice from a rock in a dream you may think "Hey, that's not right. That doesn't even makes sense. You can't drink from a rock because rocks don't have juice." It doesn't mean you have a deep, perverted desire to drink from rocks now does it?

Well, the same thing can be said of any dream scenario. If some one dreams about sex with the same sex, it doesn't automatically mean they desire that. It's likely that it's a sex dream with a DC who, if rational thought and common sense were in play, the dreamer would say to himself "Whoa, that's not right." Same goes with the Mother situation. Dream sex with a women is nothing more than dream sex with a "woman" DC. That woman could be anyone. It doesn't mean the dreamer has a desire to screw his/her own Mother

I totally agree with you. Good point.

Our subconscious mind is spontaneous most of the time.
There is no greater joy than soaring high on the wings of your dreams, except maybe the joy of watching a dream who has nowhere to land but in the ocean of reality.
