I have been thinking lately about a popular subject in most dreaming forums, the point of view you adopt while dreaming. Are you experiencing the dream from the first person perspective, from a top view or maybe even as a spectator.
This in itself is intriguing. But then, I think there is a certain point on which I didn't see lots of discussion. This is normal since this is some sort of side-topic to dreaming, and there probably isn't a lot to discuss about in the first place, after defining one-self.
The topic, is your point of view, not while dreaming, but wide awake. Ive started to think about that after I read a thread about in-dream PoV. You see, in dreams, I personally have most of the time a spectator view of the things or very often anyway. Thats why I noticed that whenever im talking to someone while im awake, I view myself as I would in my dreams, in some sort of spectator view.
This enable me to be very aware of how I look, as such, I have an image of my own face whenever im having a discussion. If I don't pay attention, ill do it anyway. Ive talked about this to a few people in my surrounding acquaintances, but nobody actually experience that, so I turn to you.
To wrap this all up, im basically taking things one step further when I dream by completely becoming a spectator.
