      Sleeptalkers?

Has anyone known they sleeptalk, and while being lucid, attempt to talk to people while you're asleep?

I sometimes wake myself from yelling in my sleep.

I yelled out for help after being victim of a terrible dream spider. Not while lucid.

No, but I had a roommate that talked in his sleep. And I could talk to him while he was sleeping sometimes.

And I swear I heard my nephew talking in another language in his sleep before. Even though he does not know any other languages. That was creepy.

My sister and I shared a room when we were growing up and she talked in her sleep all the time. She would sit straight up in bed and start talking. Sometimes, you could even have a conversation with her. Of course, she never remembered any of it in the morning ...

My friends and I had a sleepover a few years ago and one of them talked in her sleep all night while a couple of us stayed awake to listen and try talking to her. She talked about eating a pig, going to Hogwarts, me marrying one of our friends, and a bunch of other stuff.

One of her quotes: "Jamie, I'm going to kill you! No, okay... Jamie, you can live, but you have to live with my dog."

Sleeptalkers annoy the living shit out of me. I want to hit them and say, "shut the fuck up! you just woke me up with your nonsense rambling!"

My mom is a sleeptalker...and a sleepsinger...and a sleepshouter...and a sleepmoaner...and a sleepcusser. Luckily I don't have to sleep with my mom normally, but when we go camping or something, it drives me effing insane. We had a camper full of 6 people and she kept us awake all night.

My dad is an awful snorer, so between his snoring and mom's sleepshsouting, they sleep in separate bedrooms and it all works out lol...

My ex-bf used to grind his teeth in his sleep. THAT was annoying as hell too...
