      Had first lucid dream!

I've had a lot of lucid dream like experiences ie. dreaming about lucid dreaming, SP, etc. This past night though, I had my first! Here let me give you a little information.

I've been visiting relatives for the past five days in a different city so I didn't do anything with lucid dreaming. I got back yesterday after a long drive, you know excited to get to sleep in my own bed and be home. I turned the T.V off about 2:00 and tried to go to sleep. I felt weird though, I can't say how but I don't know I did, and it felt like it was taking a long time to fall asleep but I didn't care. That was also weird since I usually hate waiting to fall asleep, you know I want to fall asleep like NOW.

Anyways, so I was just taking my time, I did think "Hm, maybe I could have like a WILD or something" but I didn't try with that, I just fell asleep. Not too long after I fell asleep, I had my lucid dream. I was in my bedroom on my bed just like I was when I was sleeping. I knew instantly, I was like "I'm dreaming." I immediately tried to stabilize the dream, since it was not the best quality. Things weren't very clear, I didn't have much control, etc. I said, "Attain lucidity" and "Increase clarity" and when that didn't work I added NOW to the ends of both of them. I also tried rubbing my hands together to get a feeling but it was like my hands were moving super slow. Things were going rapidly downhill, I was starting to see black in my dreamscape. As a last resort I thought I should try to spin but I couldn't get up, stand up and then I was awake. I thought about writing it down in my dream journal but I was like "Nah, its the middle of the night, I'm going back to bed".

Also, not long after that I had another lucid dream, but I don't remember a thing about it and this morning, I could have possibly had another lucid dream or it could have been a dream about lucid dreaming. But yeah, pretty cool stuff! Two lucid dreams, maybe three. It was a bummer that my dream was short and not clear and was basically a mess and the other two I don't really remember very well but I'm gonna get back to doing RCs and actually keep my dream journal. But still neat though!

Congrats! I was really excited about my first one too. They will get easier for you to control the more you have them..during the day tell yourself you're dreaming and do reality checks. Also when falling asleep count while telling yourself I am dreaming, it has helped me..good luck!
