      Eyes Forced Open

Hey there, I have been practicing LDing for about 4 years now. I used to be able to do it almost any night I wished to, but then for the past year and a half I stopped completely. This summer I have started practicing again. I am having a slight problem though.

Now, when I am attemtping a WILD, right when my sleep paralysis begins (I always know because it is marked by a loud buzzing sound and a feeling of vibration for me) I feel my eyes being forced open. Not wide or completely open, but enough to catch a glimpse of my ceiling (if I am lying on my back) or my night table (if I am lying on my side) to the point that I wake up. This makes it very difficult to LD since I cannot successfully WILD if I cannot stay asleep for more than a few moments.

Has anyone else had this problem? I did a quick search online to no avail.

      Thanks in advance,

      James
