Need RC suggestions for a specific situation.

      OK:

So I'm pretty new here (and Lucid Dreaming) in general and I've been doing my research. I've started my dream journal and read up on reality checks. I think I understand how they work. I've been doing the nose pinch but I want something a little more specific to me.

      My situation:

I work in a retail establishment every day and I'm constantly talking with customers. I figured that a good way to get into the habit of RCing would be to do an inconspicuous RC every time I talk to a new customer. That way I'd be doing it all day, every day. I find that I talk to people quite a bit in my dreams and, if this makes sense, I figured that if my habit was to RC whenever I spoke to someone...I'd do it in my dream as well and become lucid.

Does this make sense? If so any suggestions on an easy to do LC that's not very obvious?

Well, if there's text anywhere about, or they have text anywhere on their person... Ah! When they hand you money, you can briefly give it a 'second take' to see if the letters change around. If you wear a watch you can also doubletake your watch to see if the numbers turn up again backwards... But I usually just go with flipping a lightswitch on and off to check if I am. I will double take paragraphs often if there is a book nearby and I'm not sure whether I'm dreaming, too. Any easily accessible text or numbers should help you out.

Hey thanks for the suggestions! I dig them. It's not always easy doing the nose pinch in front of people without getting an odd look or two.
