how do you see yourself while you dream?

I have made myself this question dozen of times, but never had a clear answer... I can't recall how do I see myself at all, except when facing a reflected surface like a glassed door or a mirror. In those I clearly am seeing myself in a first person way (like in reality), but I know that sometimes I see myself from other angles, like in a movie or from above. These radical camera angles would be a good dream sign, but I rarely perceive them as I sleep.

I'm curious... how do you see yourselves most often when sleeping and how does that help you getting Lucid?

The length of my hair seems to change a lot, but in general I'm my sexy self.

Normal first person view. I've had dreams where I'm an object or where I'm watching myself from above.

I have the standard 1st person view most of the times. And whenever I look at myself (in mirrors and such) I do look like I normally would, to some degree. Sometimes I see myself in 3rd person though, but only for a single "scene" or two. However when I'm lucid, I'm always in 1st person. Unless I change it to 3rd intentionally.

I'm pretty new to lucid dreaming so hopefully I can tell you after having a few more, but all the dreams that I can can remember have been from 3rd person views. I think I'll rarely be in first person but only for a little while. my "camera" used to float around like in grand theft auto sand andres because I used to play that game to death.

Ive only been actively remembering my dreams for a few days but from remembered fragments of before they tend to be in 3rd person.
However for the past 2 days ive been taking b12 right before bed and my dreams have been mainly in 1st person. If another third person dreamer wants to try taking b12 and see if it effects their orientation within dreams do PM me and let me know the results as im quite interested if it IS the b12 or just conincidence

Normal first person, though sometimes it may switch to third person, or I may switch it at certain dreams.

I have only seen myself in a mirror. I always look too thin for some reason. My hair isn't always the right color either. I have changed my hair color a number of times during my life but its been the same (in real life) for awhile. Sometimes my teeth fall out when I look in the mirror. I read somewhere that it means I am vain.

I always dream in first person. When I look in a mirror, most of the time, I'm way overweight. I'm fit in real life, and when I look at myself in a dream. But when I look in mirrors I always look fat.

My 1st person and 3rd person views switch around alot. Sometime i'm kinda doing both at the same time, it's hard to explain.

But I have dark brown hair (which is wierd because my hair is this colour) that's a little longer than mine is now. It's wavy. I'm a little more tanned than I usually am, and my eyes are more of a brown/green mix than a blue/green. I wear brown eyemakeup and am usually wearing something blue, even though my favourite colour is red.

Although I've had dreams where my hair's a black blue (been that colour before), my skin's very very pale and my eyes are bright blue. There's shimmery black around my eyes and I seem to glow slightly. I usually wear black and blue in these dreams.

I should probably dye my hair back to my natural black/brown. Maybe they're trying to tell me something

When I have a lucid dream, I look like my real self. But non lucid dreams are fucked up. In today's dream I was Michael C. Hall from Dexter. But most of the time I'm distorted, it's like 2 people conjoined, my face is never mine.

My view also uses to switch between 1st and 3rd person. Sometimes i dream about content of computer games, then 3rd person is quite usual. It can also happen that i see myself in a totally different build, for example last night as an saturnian from Futurama http://slurmed.com/fanart/javier/137_neptunians.gif

I also experienced my hair changing a lot. One year ago i stil had quite long hair, it sometimes comes back in my dreams but it doesnt change colour. It just happens that i'm wearing strange clothes when i look into mirrors like snowboots with swimming trunks

Haha, yea the first time was so freaky that I collapsed in my dream when I saw myself, I think the third time I had a Out of body Experience was when I stood up and looked back at my real body and I was kinda laughing at myself which was not freaky at all and I just went of flying outside
