Musicians: what key and time sig do YOU dream in?

Hey everyone. I hear music in my dreams frequently (simple melodies or basslines) usually when I'm about to wake up. Since the music often tends to play in my head / get stuck in my head after I wake up, I've gotten into the habit of transcribing the melodies into sheet music notation in my dream journal.

I've noticed that I always dream in C major, in 3/8 or 6/8 time. Never 4/4. Weird huh?

What does your dream music sound like? =)

I believe (in the short time I was LDing haha) I was playing my guitar in cut time, and I was improvising in G major.

lol, 3/8 time, that is weird to dream about!

      Lol. That's Awesome.

My dream music is often classical piano or a single voice melody. Though occasionally I hear full orchestral classical, which is unfortunately too complex for me to transcribe after I wake up =(

Why it's always in 3/8 time is beyond me.

I was playing onstage with Metallica, and I barely remember it. I'm guessing it was in E minor since most of their songs are. I remember a lot of F# power chords too, so it's hard to tell.
"Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots. You see, reverend Maynard tomorrow is harvest day, and to them it is the holocaust."

Looking back into the dream journal I kept 4 years ago, when I first learned of lucid dreaming, I wrote in one entry specifically, "Charlie and I went up to my room to jam. We were playing in the key of E. It sounded good."

I was so eloquent back then...
      Lord, here comes the flood.
Here we'll say goodbye to flesh and blood.
If again the seas are silent in any still alive,
It'll be those who gave their island to survive.
Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry.

i dreamt that i was once at a concert and in the dream the band (dream theater) played a song that i'd never heard before. Incredible guitar solo and everything. It was one of the best dreams i've ever had.
I wander through the woods listening to the sound of nature. The sky turns red and opens before me. I realize that I must be dreaming... My adventure has just begun.

Always 4/4 from what I recall although I do think one may have had 8th note triplets in there

The most frustrating dreams I've ever had were ones where I heard music I made (in the dream) that sounded like my style, and then I woke up and could not remember what the hell it sounded like. Times like that I feel like banging my head against steel spikes to punish my brain.

Usually 4/4, unless I'm just noodling on the guitar.
Most of my dream music is breakbeat, though.

Mmm, I don't know. I can't really read or write music. I can play, which I typically make up my own music. I play by ear.

Dream-wise, I don't dream of music much, but when I do, it is full blown with instruments, vocals, lyrics etc.. Once, I actually had a dream about an unknown song that felt like a favorite song to me, but I don't remember anything about the song except that it was beautiful.

In a LD, as soon as i realized i'm dreaming, i looked at my hands and started to croon (is this the word? singing without words ) It wasn't something i heard, and it was a unique, good one. Unfortunately, i can't remember it. Maybe it was key of B.
It's strange i rarely dream about playing on guitar, because i'm a guitar player. When i wake up, i usually have songs stuck in my head, but never unique melodies.
