      Several Questions Please Aid me.

Hello, My name is jake, ive been keeping a dream journal for about six months, ive gotten to remember at least three to four dreams a night.

Now ive only had 3 lucid dreams, one of which lasted about 5 seconds.

the other two were in one night, last night.
I need to know if i was actually lucid or if i was just dreaming that i was lucid.

i will summarize it, i awoke in my bed and closed my mouth and tried to breath, i could so i tried to move, couldnt, i didnt panic i stayed calm and slowly i started to see light through my eyes and soon i could see i was at my girlfriends house.(i will pause here, now for my lack of wanting critisism i will state that i did this because everyone said they couldnt ) i saw my girlfriend on her bed, i laid next to her and she did that thing that all guys want most, this is where i think it ends, i felt pleasure to my suprise, and everything went black. i woke up again and did a rc and was still dreaming, i got up and went outside, tried to jump and fly but fell and woke up. this is where my dream ended.
Now, i had music playing through my speakers and i heard this alot in my dream, im not sure if that is the reason i awoke but since day before yesterday i havent been able to dild, i would really appreciate your opinions on what it was that made me lucid, if i was so.

      Thanks you very much,
      Jacob Haus

      Hi Jake,

      to Dreamviews!

It's good that you've had lucids already so you know what they're like, even if one of them only lasted for a few moments. I believe you DILDed, usually people suddenly become conscious that they're dreaming, right in the middle of the dream. Then, when the first dream ended and you woke up in another dream, that was a false awakening (if you were in your bed). I'd guess that it was the adrenaline from the falling that woke you up.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Danke Puffin,
I am trying to see what exactly made me dild, if possible i want to dild again tonight, to complete a dream dare.
Im not sure if its the music, which i heard very clearly in my dream or if it was random

If you were hearing it in your dream, it would have woken you up as soon as it started playing. If it was playing before you fell asleep, you wouldn't have been able to sleep at all (some genres/types of music can prevent sleep).

I'm sure it wasn't the music. Try listening to it again tonight and see if it wakes you up.
