      wake back to bed

it seems as though ive had more success with lucid dreaming when ive woken up for a little while then went back to sleep. ive read a little about wbtb technique but i really dont want to be woken up by an alarm incase i could be in the middle of a lucid dream.

its frustrating because i feel i would have alot of success with wbtb technique but i dont really want to use it, any suggestions?

      thanks.

You could try experimenting. Set your alarm 6 hours after you go to bed, or try 5. When you wake up, think if you've woken up from a dream or not. I usually don't remember anything when i wake up after 6 hours. I've used WBTB for DILD too, it can be effective. I wouldn't say it was a MILD. I just simply had more awareness because i got out of bed. I noticed this when i was trying to WILD, failed and fell asleep.
Just telling you what i experienced, i'm not good yet.

The increased chance to lucid dream HEAVILY outweighs the chance you would be woken up out of a lucid dream.

Throughout my experience, not once has an alarm woken me up out of a lucid dream. It has woken me up out of a normal dream, but thats called hitting the sweet spot.

I'd try 4 1/2 hours into sleep, then 6, as opposed to 5 and 6.
