So last night I tried setting my alarm to 4.5 and 6 hours after falling asleep, and both times I woke up with a bit of recall, but I would fall asleep after trying to recall for a couple minutes. Anyway, I the next time I fell asleep after the last alarm, during the dream I'm pretty sure that I recognized that the world I was in was different than the last dream I had had, so I thought to myself "I'm dreaming!" And that's where I really start remembering stuff, because I don't even remember what I was doing right before I said that to myself. Even thinking back to it again now, it almost feels like I could consciously tell I was sleeping... I don't even know, it's bizarre.
But anyway, right as I said that, everything went black, I felt some weird vibrations, and I felt myself soaring really high, I could feel the air rushing by me and I felt like I was going incredibly fast (it felt similar to going up really fast in a roller coaster). During this I was thinking to myself "please let this be a lucid dream!", and when I opened my eyes I was sitting on the floor in some room that looked to be like on the 10th story of a building. The first thing I remember is that the room had a vibrantly orange side to the room, and I started walking over to it. I was trying to stay calm because I realized I was lucid dreaming, and I kept looking at my hands and I'd have 3 fingers, and they looked weird. I remembered reading about something about rubbing your hands together to stay lucid longer, so I started doing that and I got this sensation like my whole body was warming up.
I walked back away from the orange part of the room, and it looked like I was in a bedroom. There were two girls from my highschool in the room, and two guys on the bed, and it looked like the guys were trying to convince them to have sex with them (sorry for being blunt lol). I was starting to convince one of them to do it with me (again sorry lol) but right as we were about to start, I woke up.
So I'm trying to figure out if I was really lucid dreaming. That whole thing maybe lasted a minute or two even. The key thing for me to thinking that was a LD was the physical sensation of the vibrations and being rushed upwards very fast after telling myself I was dreaming. It felt very real, and when I opened my eyes the world seemed so much more vivid than any other dream. Right after I opened my eyes I was scrambling to think of what to do to sustain my time in the LD, so I kept looking at my hands and rubbing them together, was that the right thing to do? And I notice that after i stopped doing that, and my attention fixed to the girls, the dream ended probably a minute after of doing any of those things with my hands. My mind went from realizing I was dreaming and doing those checks to being fixated on those girls haha.
Any feedback would be reallllly appreciated! That first minute of what I think was an LD, I really felt like it was ME consciously thinking about what I should do now that I'm in an LD.
