I was taking a nap today and found myself aware of the dream, aware of outside sounds. I believe the outside sounds are what gave it away. |

I used to use mirrors as portals all the time, at least in my first few lucids, before switching to doors. Every mirror I tried to go through would be pretty small, so I'd have to squeeze through it. I just ended up in normal locations though. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Cool. How did you make the switch to doors? |

Using a mirror as a portal is pretty common, as is using a door.. You can also just spin and imagine your new environment, and when you stop spinning you'll be there... |

Traveling through space is my favourite kind of LD. The weird thing is I usually see foreign planets, and not so much our own. As for mirrors, every time I have looked into a mirror in a dream I became lucid, I mean reaaallly lucid, like extreme clarity. Windows and doors are usually my portals into other dimensions, and I once had a flying dream where I found a wormhole - it was a-mazing. |
