Lightbulb Become A Dream World Scientist!

I am writing this topic to inspire some of you, who like me may be finding writing dream journals a little lackluster.
I really love the idea of “solidifying” places in the dream world. Mapping out locations in your dream is an activity some like to do (and, with time, its possible to design locations in dreams that become familiar and stay the way they should). But I am about to try something that I find will be really fun and creative, and that I think others might enjoy too.

I intend to go around my dream world, and much like a scientist, research and learn about things in my dream. If I find a new species, I will give it a name or ask it its name. I will learn about its mannerisms, its size, its diet, its society. Just like documenting something IRL, I will document creatures and species, which will start to build up a database for the creatures that my memory can refer to, to create advance dream characters. I will then present the information in a Wikipedia type fashion.
You can do this with DC species, locations, plants and vegetation, or even develop technologies in your dream world and write about them. You could travel in time to find out the history of the species, location, or object. You could setup a lab in your dream to run tests. Imagine the possibilities and the creative output you could have. You could even create species and try to summon them. You could write about people in your dreams like presidents, actors, and other people in your dream world that aren't seen IRL. You could document historical things in your dream world, like if a plane crash happened that you survived.

I’d really like to see other people do this, so then we could have a topic rich with peoples encyclopedias of their dream world. And who knows, maybe we might realize characters that have appeared and been documented in more than one dream world-- it could help the cause for shared dreaming. Otherwise, you might see a species, object, or location documented in one persons world and try to summon it in your own world.

Personally, I am going to create a PDF of all my creatures and then maybe present them in my DJ and have a research log about my progress. For example:
      Loafs DJ
      Part 1

Some researchers and I ran into the forest and found one of these new creatures. We put it in a cage, but its long teeth ate through the bars. I woke up shortly after, but I intend to find it again and maybe do some strength tests on its teeth... feed it steel, plastic... and uh, rock.
In the PDF, I might have something like:

      Name: Example
      Size: 100ft
      Diet: Herbivore

These creatures are found in forest land. They have the ability to grow to the size of buildings. They have brown fur coats, and long teeth.
I think this will be a really fun project and I want everyone to have a go. For people who are bored with DJs, this could be an inspiring alternative.
Also, if you build up a world big enough, you could add it to the Conworlds wiki (a place where people make fake worlds and publish them in Wikipedia fashion for all to read):
