      WBTB + WILD Question!

I had my first lucid dream two nights ago and i need some feedback

I went to bed at 11 and woke up at 6. I went to the bathroom, pee'd, then went straight back to bed and then laid on my stomach and started a WILD. I began to see different images/scenes appearing in my mind and then shortly after that I fell asleep and i was in a dream where i saw myself from 3rd persion view and I immediately performed a nose-pinch RC and could breathe through and became Lucid.

So my question now is, did i perform a successful WILD or was it just a DILD?

If you became lucid, then it was a DILD, if you entered the dream already lucid, then it was a WILD. It's not 100% clear from your description.

Basically, the idea of a WILD is that you maintain awareness as you fall asleep, so you don't become lucid during the dream. You actually enter the dream whilst being aware of it. You said you became lucid after performing the RC, so that sounds like a DILD. If I got the wrong idea and the RC was just "to make sure," then yes, it was a successful WILD. I always do the same myself, after entering a WILD (perform an RC, that is).

Hmm ok, i guess it was a DILD then. But another thing, last night i was trying WILD again and i didnt quite get to SP but i did get the usual sound hallucinations, and then i felt like i was being moved to the left side somehow..dunno, like my dreambody was leaving my real body?

I've felt that. And from what i've done, yes that is whats happening. I've only done it once or twice but i felt that feeling like rolling off my bed, then i fell into a dream.

Was the first part of your dream non-lucid?

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Are you referring to my first or second post?
