      Help!

Okay, if you've read my LD forums, then you know that I'm trying to find my dream guide, and that the Lucid Crossroads will help me find her. But something's wrong. For some reason, all my LDs take place in my house. And for some other reason, I can't make it out of my house. Whenever I'm lucid, I try to get out of the house and into the Lucid Crossroads, but something's keeping me there. Can somebody give me advice to why I can't get out?

I'm thinking poor dream control, unless there's something else involved. Is it some sort of barrier that's keeping you out, or are you simply not thinking to exit your house? In that case, you might just not be lucid enough (there's "fairly conscious" in a dream, "sort of conscious", and then there's "totally conscious" like in real life).

If you open the door, just expect something to be on the other side. Imagine your house is located at the lucid crossroads, and when you open the door you'll see that location.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

It's like something doesn't want me to get to the Crossroads. I tried to fly to the crossroads, get there using a mirror, & tried getting there with the door thing. It's really frustrating me.

I can suggest maybe having a more commanding feeling in the dream world; knowing that nothing will be able to stop you if you know where you're going. It might just be a lack of confidence in yourself as a master of your dreams, if you know what I mean?
