I had a brief lucid the other day where I found this awesome comic book store, and I just wanted to absorb the awesome artwork and stories. I knew I couldn't take the books with me when I woke up, but I really wanted to! So I sat down, curled up with a blanket, and page after page I just tried to remember every vivid detail of the inspiring graphic novels. Because I really want to make one!

When I woke up when I was upset, because the amazing artwork and the stories were gone

But now I'm thinking, what if the comics, the artwork and the stories, what if it's not gone? According to dream understanding, my subconscious made those works of art right? So, aren't the works of art in some weird way, still there in my subconscious?

It always floors me how amazing the subconscious is in terms of creativity. So what if the dream comic books didn't exist in waking life. The details, the composition, the painting technique, I would argue it was real, because some real creativity and intelligence has to be backing it up! And my subconscious made a whole library, in an instant, or at least the instant I picked up a book, BOOM!

If there is something I can take away from this dream its, I am fully capable of completing and publishing my own graphic novel!! My dream has shown me that I have access to a vast creativity.

I know that I'm not the only artist on this forum who woke up a little frustrated that our own works of art just pale in comparison to dreamed works of art. Or maybe you don't think of yourself as an artist, but your dreams show otherwise.

How can we, as lucid dreamers, transform our dreamed works of art into waking reality?

I have some ideas, but I thought I'd let other be share theirs before I might derail this to beyond dreaming
