Thread: question on urinating and dreams.

Grats in your first lucid. I can't answer your question but why do you see this as any kind of mistake or setback?

Some times I do have to go, but in the lucid dream I never get relief--this tells me my awareness has dropped and I have to wake up so that I can reallly go to the bathroom.

As a kid i used to always pee in my dream in the toilet, and every time i do, i pee in real life in my bed.
now thats a WET dream! lol

I have never had that happen.

I've had that happen as a child as well. It's pretty common.

ty and its a mistake because i pissed myself...
i wonder why sleep paralysis doesn't prevent that?

I've gone in non-lucids and subsequently gone in real life when I was younger. Quite embarrassing. Never had to go in a lucid though.

No, I've never peed in a lucid dream HOWEVER... I did once have a lucid dream that I got stuck inside of a really tiny bathroom with a red toilet in an attic while trying to escape from a serial killer whom I later befriended. I would suggest trying to avoid the whole peeing in dreams thing, because to my knowledge there isn't intensive study on it and it may or may not cause you to actually pee your bed. As your attorney, I advise you not to pee in your bed.

Here's the thing. You were lucid right? So you chose to take a piss in your dream? Why?
I've only ever heard of people urinating in their non-lucid dreams and subsequently wetting the bed.

There must be some reason im on the bed wetting page all of a sudden, Right ?
Before I even started this LD thing I went to Walmart and spent ten bucks on a vinyl zippered mattress cover, Now I know why ! I have multiple dry orgasms with a dry bed peeing between them in both lucid and non lucid dreams. This has been going on for weeks and I love it and come to look forward to the dry wetting almost as good as the orgasm, Until last night that is, because my mattress was protected I let fly in one dream too many and not suspecting because I thought it was dry I didnt bother to wake up until I felt my ankles and armpit getting wet.
It was small matter, It took only 10 minutes to change the bed, Toss the sheets in the washer, A quick shower and back to dreamland

Same here. It's just your subconcious telling you, you need to go.

I may pee on a tree or a passing beetle in my lucid dreams because I know it cant really happen, But just this one time

That's a hell of a first lucid. I've had a couple of dreams about urinating, but as a few of the others said, I've woken up before reacting in real life. I had a close call once. Usually somewhere in my mind, I realize that peeing in a dream is a TERRIBLE idea.

I think my dreams have gotten to the point of relaxing my bladder, but then part of me freaks out and wakes myself up.

At least in my experience dream stuff dont cross over into the real world and I have more fun because of that but about one time in a hundred something proves me wrong
