Dream Computer

I have a few lucid dreaming problems with my computer, Three times its been there on my desk in front of me running in my bedroom although both the desk and it are out in the living room and it also is sleeping.
There are a couple things wrong with it. The desktop background girl is there pretty as can be but the icons and clock are gone, And the keyboard stands higher, about twice the thickness of mine.
Two more annoying things are. Its sparkling clean and it dont work. (Or it does not work in dream recall)

Umm what's the question? Are you asking why it doesn't work? Well technology is pretty hard for your mind to recreate the workings of the computer. Especially when you are non lucid, your mind isn't as focused on that one thing.

I think what is meant is what prompted you to share this story? I understand that it is a lucid experience but it seems like something you would post in your Dream Journal rather than General Lucid Discussion, unless you would like to specifically make some point about the computer appearing different and would care to receive feedback on it.

Youre prolly right mel, I havnt learned to navigate DV that well and likely just posted it in the wrong.

Electronics don't work in dreams usually, maybe if you could program a computer all by your self, but for my dream computer, it has a naked girl on it, instead of my pony background, that annoying laggy sidebar that I usually turn off, and you can delete it all by pressing backspace. Its a good indicator for dreaming.

Ha, I didnt want to be a pig and admit I have a naked girl on mine but I do, Funny though ! In last nights episode it had been replaced by the swampy jungle glade thats almost always in my dreams. And of course the real computer is in the other room and that area of my bedroom is occupied by a dresser. And the clock turned digital and had just the red number 2 on it with no :00.. I could not locate a mouse and put my hand out toward it and wiggled fingers to make sure they were mine as I knew mine were safely in bed with me, I wanted to hit the start menu to see if it would work but by then the dream was getting stale..That whole idea of a naked girl on it is to take her in my dreams with me. (See, I'm being a pig)

I recently had a false awakening where I tried to use my computer. There were a bunch of icons in odd places and I had a red Internet explorer icon for the start menu. I also had a feeling that it must have been some new update that I had forgotten about or something.
