      Amputee being able to walk?

I was thinking of my friend who can't walk anymore, (I just joined today but read all about LD yesterday) and I'm curious if anyone has had experiences with this, where they can walk again?

I would like to tell him about this if it is possible his mind would let him walk again with full control, I think that it would just make his life soooo much better!

While typing it is reminding me of Avatar where the main character Jake is able to walk in his avatar body again after being paralyzed. Sorry if this has already been asked.

I think it would hurt his feeling rather than make him feel better =x.
Leave it be imo, not to sound rude or anything.

      But yea.
im guessing if you can imagine it, its possible.
I always wanted to fight the hulk and overpower him, but that's yet to come xD

It's definitely possible, especially if he has been able to walk in the past. You might want to ask him what his normal dreams are like, does he walk in them or is he in a wheelchair? If he normally walks in dreams, then he could definitely walk in an LD. There is also the possibility that he might try an LD and realize how much fun flying is and totally forget about walking.

If you mean in his lucid dreams, then I would guess so. I don't see a reason why not.

He usually doesn't have dreams, and when he does they don't really involve him. I'll have to tell him more about this then I am pretty sure he would love it if he got it to work.

He just doesn't remember them. :3
He'd definitely be able to walk in a lucid, especially if he was able to walk before. I'd bring it up carefully though, you don't want to send across the wrong message or make him feel inept.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Nah, we're way good friends, we actually look at technologies for people that are amputees so they can walk again, pretty neat stuff but all soooo expensive (in the millions) so i figured this would be the next best thing.
