      Feelings in lucid dreams?

Okay, I have only had one LD (last night ) that I can actually recall (I think I've probably had several of them years ago but they're really vague and I barely remember them), but anyway, I was just wondering, for knowledge. How do feelings develop in lucid dreams? Or do they even develop?

Like, what if you have a DC that often appears in your dream (imaginative or from reality) and after so long, could you possibly develop feelings for that person/animal/whatever? Or does your mind control whether or not you like that DC and how that DC responds to it?

And can we eat food in dreams (lucid state)? And if we can (like get the flavor and taste and stuff), do they actually feel filling (in the dream) or are they just mere activities controlled by your mind?

You can experience anything your mind can poibly comprehend, even things that arnt posible iwl like a new color for example. You can eat in dreams, you can smell in dreams you can feel anything. Also your emotions are often amplified in dreams if thats what you mean. You may feel more angry or sad tha you should and it can be a dream sign. Lucids often feel just like waking life and I am always amazed at how vivid they can be. I'm not sure exactly what your saying though about your mind develops and feels feelings. You are your mind.

not always, a lot of times in DILDs you don't become fully awake upon getting lucid so things like faulty logic, will come into play. also in WILDs when you don't contenuously recall your lucidity, you can lose yourself in the dream and became less and less aware making you more likely to believe in faulty logic. it depends on the layer of lucidity you are in. layer 3 is when you start seeing the dream like you would in your waking life. in the lower lucidity layers, your dream self still has influence over you.

Ok, as one with a scientific mind I mostly believe our level of awareness and will are what affects the dream control. But sometimes the rules seem a little different depending on the dream, so it seems like someone else is laying out the story, or we do it very subconsciously. Last night I could not fly like usual. I was a wizard in that dream so one would think I would have more control than when I am just myself. HoweverI could stand on a piece of scrap wood I found lying around and then ride it like a flying carpet. Not sure how I knew to even try that. But you know, wizards dont free fly, so it makes sense. And I was lucid but I guess constrained by the genre of fantasy.

It's actually weird how real and intense emotions can be. I remember one lucid where I stole my sisters car and she started screaming at me! I almost turned the car around and brought it back because the emotions I felt were so real.

As for developing feelings for a DC I don't see why not! The DC could be whoever you want it to be and look however you want so it's more then possible. However, I wouldn't recommend it. It would be like falling for a character in a movie. That person isn't real!

the coolest thing about lucid dreaming is the ability of control. you can eat a taco and it will taste like a taco, you might get full, but it depends on how well you can control the dream. if you've got really good control you could eat thousands of tacos and never get full. it's all about control.

if you have sombody in real life that you dream about and fell for them in the dream, you might fall for them in real life. wierd, i've never thought about that before.
Dripping time into a seed that grows into the world and sprouts a fruit that ripens into humans. They stretch up into the sky looking for purpose, wandering when and if their time has come. Realizing the potential they have, they select their paths which weave in and out to make the good and the bad, the pure and the corrupt...

So emotions are just stronger in dreams? Lucid and non lucid?
Wow.. The power of dreams. I can't wait to get more lucid dreams and learn to control them more. Anyway, thanks for answering my questions.
Now I get to see things from a wider perspective (: Thanks again.

Yes, you can develop feelings and get attached to certain dream characters. Emotions in dreams tend to be stronger than in real life.

Also food is one of the best things about lucid dreaming. Yes, you can actually taste it and everything usually tastes amazing. Hopefully you will be able to try some lucid food soon!
