Thread: Was this sleep paralysis?

Hello DreamViewers! I'm pretty much inactive here (and a fairly novice lucid dreamer), but I had a weird experience this morning and decided to get your input.

So I woke up this morning, got ready for school like usual bit before leaving I took a quick nap (like 15 minutes, and told my mom to wake me up so I can leave on time) during which I had a dream and yadda yadda. The weird part was when the dream ended. I returned to what I thought was consciousness with a slight jolt and floaty feeling and my eyes were still closed. I could have sworn I was awake (now not so sure).

My eyes were shut tight, but I felt like I could see as if my eyes were squinted. I then felt the strong presence of a person walking up to me (and could also see faintly out of my eye) and I figured it was my mom waking me up. The figure stood by me for a few
seconds then walked away. I just shrugged it off and a few minutes later my mom yelled at me to wake up. She told me she was never in the room. I am 100% sure I saw someone faintly and felt their presence. I also saw a couple of other weird things.

Just wondering if these were hypnagogic hallucinations or whatever cuz it was weird. So yeah, thanks in advance.
