      Developing Areas Within A Dreamworld

Like many before me, building an area in a dream, be it an entire world or just a building, is a very exciting idea. There are some problems to face:

      • Creating an area that has consistency
      • Retaining details in your subconscious
      • Being able to correctly project the design from IRL into the dream

Has anyone ever tried this? How did you create an area that was sustainable? How did you design the initial setting (for me, I couldn't Photoshop or model a world, because in the dream it'd look Photoshop'd or modeled ha).

There is a program called Paradiso that I managed to recently acquire, thanks to Wolvendeer. The download link is here: Paradiso + The Goods.zip

This is actually easier than you are making it out to be. Just imagine and tell yourself what you want, your subconscious will fill in any gaps and the detail will be simply amazing! Touch it, smell it, whatever, to make it more real to you.

I have been wanting to try this for a long while. I have an area completely mapped in my head, so detailed I can easily walk through (and re-visit) areas in my mind. However, as I am in an extremely long dry spell I haven't been able to try to visit.

I predict as long as you are in decent control of the dream, getting to the location would not be that difficult. As for retaining it's details and familiarity, I assume it would take multiple visits to finally establish the location. Once you have been there multiple times and are extremely familiar with the feeling and "presence" of the location, I can imagine it would reform much more naturally each visit until no effort is required (theoretically, of course).
