nah, we're not! but it got your attention!! but think about it, when in LD we can do anything, right? kinda like Neo in the matrix. we can summon people, things, etc. we can make whole worlds, we can erase the world by snapping our fingers. When i go Lucid for the first time, i want to be GOD

Hmmm....Good point Lucius, I know where you are coming from. (i should, we've discussed this one for hours ^_^ ) But let me add this thought. Being a *god* is not the same thing as being in absolute control. Sometimes being a god just entails guiding and teaching those less evolved than yourself. Not forcing your will on them, but gentle loving guidance.

Being God is feeling superior or powertripping in whatever way(for us humans) and should be left to greater beings not us humans, what you describe is perhaps "feeling like a God" teaching others, helping people makes you feel like a God, it makes you feel good and above the bad stuff in the world, but it doesnt make you a God, same with being with the one you love most, seeing people happy and blessed, it makes you feel like a God. Because you feel so good with everything. Harmony, balance with it all. We are no Gods, at least, not meant to be, being God is being better and higher then others. There are ones that are better and higher then us(in other realms), but we are all humans right now, sadly I suppose sometimes.

We create what we want when we want or try to at least! Yes we aren't gods in the waking world but who says we can't be in our dreams!

Controlling can be fun, but so can passively just watching dream characters in their lives too. Have you ever tried watching a DC at work, then doing things to spook them out/annoy them! It hilarous, wait until they make coffee then when they look at it it's disappeared again. The reactions can be pretty funny.

God bumped, thats your new title nomad. Anyway, was once when I first became successful, and didn't like it, being a god is so freaking boring its not even funny. So created rules to cancel that!

In my first lucid dream I summoned my best friend but he was only there in spirit, he didnt actually have a body — I blame it on lack of experience — but we'd made a mess in an office room of some sort when a DC maid came in to clean the mess up. She found my invisible friend and I in amongst the mess we'd made and decided that she really didn't want to stick around and so started to back away out of the room slowly. I started to speak jiberish to her and attempted to make her think she was insane.

It's important to have fun in your dreams. If manipulating your environment facilitates your ability to have fun, go for it! (By the way, I voted for the third option, although the first two aren't bad either!)

I like to have adventures, and hopefully this will come easier as i get better at LDing. I would like to follow a story type theme and see where it goes
