      Lucid Dreams Always Disturbed

Up to now I have had 3 fully aware Lucid Dreams. However in only one have I been able to use powers. In the first one, I was fighting wolves when I realized it was a dream. I got up on a rock and jumped to fly, but instead, I simply fell flat on my face in the ground. I later lost lucidity, however in the dream I started telling people about my lucid fail. Then in my second one, around a month later, I realized it was a dream when my rabbit turned into a goat. But my Dad all of a sudden started turning really old. So I used powers to turn him back to normal age, but he was different. Then he tried to kill me, and even though I knew it was a dream, I lost it and woke up. Then around a week later, last night I had my third and weirdest lucid dream. The way it happened is weird. I was in a dream. And in it I fell asleep and entered another dream. I was running though the hall of my house, when I realized it was a dream, so I went over to a balcony in my house and I jumped off to fly. I flew for a millisecond when I heard my mom's voice and then, I woke up in my original dream. I started telling everyone (again) about my lucid dream interruption. And then, I remember eventually that night, going to the place I tried to fly, and thinking about flying, I felt as if I really could do it. But I decided I shouldn't because it was real life. BUT IT WAS A DREAM. In all of my dreams, something has disturbed me, or interrupted my lucidity. I guess I still need more dream control.

It sounds like you're not making yourself sure enough that you're dreaming. You need to honestly believe that you're dreaming and what that entails. I suggest thinking about this for a while. Go over everything that you can do while dreaming, and try to keep these in the back of your mind. For example, ponder on the fact that you can fly in a dream. Understand that this is possible. This is the most important part of dream control: believing you can control your dream.
It also seems that you're nervous about whether your dream really is a dream or not. I suggest, to make absolutely sure, if your general reality checks fail, try to do something simple that you could only do in a dream. Nothing dangerous like jumping off of a tower, just something like shooting lasers out of your nipples eyes or floating or something. Just make sure you believe you can do these things. If they work, you'll know you're dreaming, and then you can go do dangerous stunts. If not, you can try something else.
      Hope this helped.
I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

Likewise, you cant teach some one who looks for facts to have faith in the absence of facts.

Also, since you are having some trouble with the dream in general, try to stabilize after becoming lucid, that way you will feel more "in touch" with the dream.

And for control, you could try other stuff, like take some kind of "magic" object that allows you to fly, or eat a super-power pill.

Good suggestion. To piggyback on it, I just recently re-discovered this old beauty of a thread: The Dream Exchange Thread.
Try using one of the items on here to increase control.
