Thread: Need Help With My Dream-Guide!!!

Last night i had a LD..
At a certain part, I remembered that I wanted to meet my dreamguide..

Spoiler for so..the Dream:

[Scene=Lobby In Some Office Buidling I entered]I pressed the elevator button and as soon as it arrived i got in...I then realized how its better to find my DG right now...I shouted out "Dreamguide" and immediately heard a response from the back "Right here.." the figure said.. I turned around and saw someone sitting on the ground...I figured it's probably him..
He got up and I realized he was short(like really,really short...Yoda short)
He looked a lot like my friend's brother but had this innocent child-like face...I asked him "Are you my Dream-guide" he nodded..."Do you have experience?"he nodded again...
I then asked "This is a lucid...you could simply be taller" his reply was confusing,yet it made sense to me in the dream..said that he shouldn't attract attention and had to keep his 'cover'...

Clearly,I'm disappointed if that is my Dream-guide...
I was expecting a dragon, a hot biker chick,maybe some one like Gandalf or Yoda..But not this guy...He seemed innocent and calm,he didn't even look at me when I spoke to him...

Overall,I was really excited about meeting Dream-guide and he/she would look and behave thats why I really need suggestions from people who can explain this,or give any tips on what to do..

give your guide a chance.. sure many people don't get the guides they wish they had, but don't deny your guide, as you have more conversations you'll become closer to your DG. By the way, you can have more than 1 dream guide possibly, but you cannot alter their appearance. They are who they are, you have to learn to accept it.

Haha, I could understand how you feel if your werent thrilled with your dreamguide, but I do believe you can have multiple dream guides and im sure you could also ask your dream guide if it is possible for him/her to take a much more appeasing form. I know I wont hesitate to ask.. haha

Well now we know why he wouldn't even look at you. He is a spirit from another plane of existence and u don't think he is cool?!?!?! So what if he isn't hellboy or the Fonz. He is still awesome if u just accepted him instead of being a (insert bad word here) about it. Do u judge ur friends and family by way they look. He has alot of wisdom I suggest u be kind to him considering he could probably give u night terror for the rest of ur life.

makes sense....i guess you're right...I should be more understanding and accept my Dreamguide...
To be honest,It wasn't all about the appearance...I felt that if he were that quiet,i felt that he might not help me...

Of course I respect that... And I think it would be cool if there was other plane of existence but I just can't accept it. anyways you're right we should not start a fight about something we can't prove without any doubt.

I think the reason why your dream guide doesn't look like that is because you weren't expecting him/her to look like anything else. I may be wrong though, I don't know if you can alter the looks of your dream guide or not.

Ever heard of nightmares?

My DG is a dragon. He actually asked me what form I wanted to see him as. First he was a dragon-man, then he was a huge red dragon in a cave, then he was a mecha dragon in outer space.

Ask your DG to be a hot biker chick.

Before I met my DG, I imagined exactly how I wanted him to look. Ask him for a gift whenever you want.

I remember Skywalker didn't like his Yoda either. I mean really, a sauna of a planet and a surly green tiny guy, for a Jedi Master??? What a rip off!!! But actually this "rip off" of a guide and his "tude" was just what Luke needed.

soo, any news on your progress with him? Btw i apologize about my spazing up their, i didnt mean for it to sound harsh(which i discovered after re-reading it) i hate how you cant tell what someone really means behind a computer hahaha

Does your dream guide really look like what you want her to look like? I want mine to look like Kainé from Nier. (I don't know why, she's not really sexually attractive I just like her aesthetic.)

Havent met him sinse, in most of my lucids i look for him and it ends up as a hunt.. lol

It's your dream, try to change him and if he won't, get a new one.
Turn away from the Dream Guide and imagine a new one there, you can either manually picture what 'it' will look like, or you can mix it up and just see what your subconcious throws out at you.

Im not sure, Ill see him next time and see what changes.. If my subconscious gave me him, maybe its for a reason
