I just had a lucid dream but....

So i know that sometimes when you realize that you are dreaming you don't take it into account and you continue to dream without really becoming lucid. But i had one where i became lucid and i continued dreaming. The first thing i did was eat as much as i could. But i did it without 'realizing it'. Then i did stuff like fly. Is this a lucid dream? I didn't have any 'thought' like you normally would when becoming lucid. P.S i never had a true lucid dream before.

If you knew for sure you were dreaming, then it was a Lucid. You don't have to have any control.

The youtuber reecejones has a list of lucid dreaming layers. You were at about a level two.
      Layer Two (Minor):
You'll realise you're dreaming, although you won't fully understand the implications of what dreaming really is. The dream will be fairly unstable (flickering scenery, blurry textures, etc). You'll not have full control over your actions and at points it may feel like you're watching a movie. Dream characters are not aware that they're merely dream characters. You also still feel as if the dream characters are real people.

You realise that you're dreaming, but don't care enough to try and take control.
So yes, that was a lucid dream, but just not a very good one

This doesn't sound like lucid to me. Can you describe more how you felt? It seems that you just dreamed of being lucid not actually being lucid...
